Any help on the subject about how to fix this would be really appreciated. The cold start seems to be the issue if I reset the computer but I keep it on, the WB load just fine. I also tried with and without libs for the 030 card and it does the same exact thing. At this point I think there is something going on with the installer then it does the same no matter what card size and partition size I use so the issue is neither the partition size nor how big the CF card is.

I tried on UAE and it works fine so the installation is fine.Īfter a bit of investigation, I found what makes it crash: If I cold boot the 1200 and boot directly from the CF card, it does give me the software error and does not load WB but if I boot using the module disk, and after the first reboot I remove the module disk, it does boot fine from the hard disk.

So far had no luck getting 3.2 running on my 1200 with Blizzard 1230 MK4 it boot fine using the modules1200 adf disk, it boots fine using the installer 3.2 disk, to the point where I can install the whole OS fine but it won't boot in 3.2. Prepped the card on the Amiga1200, installed the OS booting from 3.1 roms, but after the second reboot after the loadmodule, I get the software error blinking message and the machine reboot. I am thinking of installing it, but right now my Amiga only has 16MB ram because my new accelerator can only take a single-sided SIMM.Using a 64 GB card, with one partition used for WB (500 mb), and 2x30 GB partitions for extras. I also located my 3.9 CD and I now know where it is. Lets just say I have bigger fish to fry than ATC ATM I've gone way off topic, but it is my thread. And now there is the issue of WINUAE not working at all.
#AMIGA SIMPLEFTP CRASHING UPGRADE#
So I tried to switch the key for both my home premium OEM and my upgrade key for ultimate that I purchased. My fear is that it would not activate, or worse yet, activate and deactivate my mom. The OS worked a few days but wanted to reactivate but I did not want to do that because the Winblows an OEM (system builder) copy tied to my old notebook which I gave to my mom. And it was way faster than the stock install with all of the Toshiba shovelware. I thought I had lucked out because all I had to do with install a few drivers. It was a backup I made after redoing my previous laptop. I put in another HD and it happened to have a fresh copy of Window7 ultimate with all my apps installed. It never booted again after that and I thought the HD probably crashed. Last weekend I went to restart it and it was stuck on the shutting down screen, so I turned it off. Unfortunately my Windows7 took another round of updates from Microshaft and now WinUAE won't run anymore at all. I have been using SimpleFTP now which works well enough. I also notice with the new accelerator the PC = FFFFFFFD6. There is obviously something wrong with my software as I had a similar result under UAE. FTPMount with DiskMaster 2 fulfills all my FTP needs. If you don't want to do that, find yourself a different FTP program. If that doesn't work, try the old Windows trick and reformat the hard drive and reinstall the whole operating system. If that doesn't work, wait for your new accelerator and try it. Maybe try installing to SYS:MUI this time although it shouldn't matter. If it still doesn't work, you might delete all the MUI assigns in user-startup and your SYS:System/MUI directory (with sub directories) and try a fresh install with the unofficial MUI install from the link I posted. You might delete all those lines and delete your whole AmiTradeCenter install and then try a fresh install. There is probably AmiTradeCenter assigns in your user-startup also. They usually go in SYS:MUI/Libs/MUI but it depends on where your assign in S:user-startup is for MUI. That's the correct directory but it's in an odd place. If there is no failure then maybe a settings file is loaded right before the crash. This would tell you where it's expecting to find a file too. Look for a failed lock (probably the last before the crash) by AmiTradeCenter.

You could try SnoopDOS or Snoopy to see if anything is trying to load but fails before the crash. It sometimes works but AmiTradeCenter probably needs to exit after not loading something and will crash again. You can try the "rts" gadget of SmartCrash which will continue after the bad branch if it's a bsr or jsr.

I doubt it's a hardware or memory problem as it's repeatable and you're system is stable. There is probably a corrupt setting or a failed load of a resource/library/gui element that is improperly checked.
#AMIGA SIMPLEFTP CRASHING CODE#
It finds some illegal code there and crashes. AmiTradeCenter is branching into low memory (where ROM is mapped) probably from reading a NULL pointer. A real debugger would be needed to trace the problem. SmartCrash just gives me a post mortum snapshot of what happened.
